产品说明:

In the years from 1618 to 1648, a bloody battle was fought for the dominance of the Christian denominations in Europe. Catholics and Protestants fought each other in the Thirty Years' War. This collection includes 4 historical silver coins, which were in circulation at the time of the conflict. Still at the time of the reign of Emperor Matthias, ruler of the Holy Roman Empire (1612–1619), the religious war began with the so-called defenestration of Prague. The Polish king Sigismund III (1587–1632) fought against his Protestant cousin Gustav II. Adolf (1611–1632). Gustav Adolf, the “Lion of the North” ultimately supported the Protestants in the Holy Roman Empire, in their battle against the Catholic League. Christina, the daughter of Gustav Adolf, took over the reign in Sweden (1632 – 1654), after his death in the battle of Lützen. During her reign, the Peace of Westphalia finally ended the war in Europe.
