In light of recent events, Mietens & Partner GmbH has launched a “Peace for Ukraine” 0 Euro note. The majority of the proceeds will go to the “Wir helfen Kindern” (We Help Children) association for aid to Ukraine.
“We have decided to show our solidarity. That's why we are offering this 0 Euro peace note, with 1 Euro of each note's proceeds going to the Wir helfen Kindern Ukraine aid,” says Managing Director Ulf Mietens. The association Wir helfen Kindern donates a further 4.50 Euros of the selling price, so that a decent sum comes together for the needy children and their families in Ukraine.

“Not only am I extremely pleased about this further action, but the entire association,” says the chairman of the board, Volker Machura.

The note also has some special features that will make the heart of every 0 Euro lover beat faster. For the first time in the history of 0 Euro notes, the color scheme deviates from the usual pattern and breaks new ground with the dove of peace in the colors of the Ukrainian national flag – blue and yellow. This once again impressively underlines and emphasizes the importance and message of this note. Furthermore, the country code “UA” (Ukraine) is used for the serial numbers of the notes. Each individual note is produced at a banknote printing company in France, on a high-security paper, on which real banknotes are also printed. Two sets of 5,000 pieces are to be printed and distributed in this way.
