At 73 years old, Charles was the oldest heir to the British throne in British history and is now the head of state of Australia. The renowned Royal Australian Mint began issuing the 1 Dollar kangaroo coin, and now the complete set is available. It is initially intended for collectors and is not yet in circulation.

In addition to the royal portrait, the unique flora and fauna are honored by the motifs. The national coat of arms and an Aboriginal Australian are depicted.
