Gold and bronze medals for Team Mietens at the 2025 World Masters Games

The Mietens athletes triumphed in impressive fashion during their strong showing at the 2025 World Masters Games in Taiwan.
Managing Director Ulf Mietens confidently won the sprint distance (750 meters swimming, 20 kilometers cycling, and 5 kilometers running) in his age group (M55) in the triathlon, securing the title. With a time of 1:14:44, he finished more than 3 minutes ahead of the runner-up!

His colleague Nils Oslislok also put in a very strong performance and won the bronze medal in his age group (M35) – an outstanding result to be proud of.

“It's an incredible feeling not only to be part of one of the world's biggest multisport events, but also to be standing at the top of the podium,” said Ulf Mietens after his victory. “Nils and I trained intensively, and we are delighted that our efforts have paid off.”
In addition to the strong international field, Nils Oslislok was particularly struck by the extraordinary heat and extreme humidity during the competition. Another challenge that was mastered with flying colors.

Participating in and succeeding at the World Masters Games 2025 is not only a sporting highlight, but also an inspiration for the entire Mietens team.

We congratulate both of them on their great achievements and are already looking forward to the next sporting challenges. With such dedicated colleagues in our team, we can look to the future with confidence – both in sport and at work.
