Canada's 1 Dollar Silver Coins

Currently, over 30 Canadian 1 dollar silver coins with different motifs are available

Canada is the second largest country in the world, after Russia, and is admired worldwide for its vast areas of unspoilt nature. Thanks to the absence of roads or other buildings, its boreal forest is considered the largest intact forest on the planet. It is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including some of the largest mammals in the Americas: the polar bear and the elk. These obviously make excellent coin motifs.

Our program “Canada's 1 Dollar Silver Coins” includes over 30 silver coins with different exciting motifs. In addition to the native animals, the coins also tell the story of the country. For example, the famous Voyageur Dollar shows a fur trader and an indigenous man in a canoe. It was the first motif used on Canadian silver circulation coins in 1935. Other designs feature historical figures, sailing ships, buildings and steam locomotives.
