This historical collection includes 6 coins from 6 different Chinese Emperors. These are cast (not embossed!) cash coins from China, with the characteristic square hole. The shape of these remained unchanged for over 2,000 years: circular with a square hole – symbol for heaven and earth. Apart from their historical value, they are also very popular as lucky charms. All coins are historical originals, and living testaments to almost a thousand years of history.

Each coin in this spectacular set is a highlight in itself! Furthermore, it includes a “Diamond highlight”: a real wreck coin from the Middle Kingdom! This coin slumbered on the bed of the Yangtze River for a long time. Local farmers found it on the banks of the Yangtze River, in a historical shipwreck of a Chinese junk, when the water level was extraordinarily low. They found coins of the Emperor HUI TSUNG on board, which were almost 900 years old.
