This hip chain from the estate of “Queen Emma of New Guinea” is a unique! Due to her noble origin from a chieftain’s clan, her particular beauty and female radiance, and her business sense, she was called “Queen Emma”, and for many, she was seen as the Queen of the South Seas. This historically unique artifact consists of 14 silver coins, 5 New Guinea Marks (1894) and chain links, with a small lion stamp punched on them.
